A big hello to everyone who has stumbled upon this blog. The idea of this blog is to add a short review of each book that my daughter, whom I will refer to as Mini has and will read. I started when Mini was 3 and a half years but then I took a pretty long break. No excuses really. So now suddenly, Mini is 5 years and a bit, AND in Year 1. And then I panicked. We have already read so many books in the meantime and I haven’t kept any record of it.
I am now back, hopefully. I will try my best to be a blogger. I do run a business and daily life is quite manic. This is my way to enjoy and merge my love of books and parenting. I immensely enjoy bonding with Mini with a book in our hands. The learning/teaching lark is a bit tricky though. I try my best to make it ‘fun’. If you are a parent in the same boat, please do share your thoughts and ideas – that’d be really helpful.
If you are a brand or company (any size) looking for bloggers to assist with your marketing, please feel free to contact me. I am interested in good children’s books only – suitable for Mini. They can be educational, school books as well.
My reviewing ‘policy’ is:
- Reviews will always be honest and from the mumma and the child’s point of view.
- Complete transparency – I’ll always be open about the fact that I have been sent the book to review.
- I’ll publish links and other relevant information that I think will be of use to my readers. I will share the link on twitter and facebook and (usually) recommend your website very clearly.
